Sika Design strives to supply sustainable and quality furniture manufactured with respect for the environment and human rights. That's why we've put so much effort into all of our pieces over the years, minimizing resource consumption, preventing pollution in our manufacturing processes, and taking responsibility for the people who create our furniture.
Commitment to the Environment
Craftsmanship has always been a fundamental part of the Sika Design brand, from its very first batch in 1942 to any of our current collections. Each piece of furniture is still handmade from wicker or rattan, two of the best, most beautiful, and resistant natural materials. We focus on design and comfort and also take the environment into account when we choose our raw materials and develop new production methods.
Sika Design holds the ISO 14001 certification, which is the international standard for environmental responsibility. We hold ourselves to these standards and demand the same level of commitment from all of our suppliers.
Commitment to Human Rights
We value the people who instill so much craftsmanship into every Sika Design piece. We hold the SA8000 certification, which is the international standard for social responsibility. Sika Design does not accept child labor and respects human rights, and we demand the same commitment from our suppliers.
